About Christie's Family Health

Psychiatric Mental Health Care located in Houston, TX

Christie's Family Health LLC

At Christie’s Family Health LLC, board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner Sheritha Chambliss, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC, provides mental health care to adolescents, teens, and adults in Houston, Texas, and Harris County.

The practice’s goal is to increase access to mental health care across the state, reduce stigma, and help people improve their physical well-being.

Sheritha has extensive training in diagnosing and treating various psychiatric and behavioral disorders, including attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), panic disorder, schizophrenia, and major depression.

Sheritha knows that seeking treatment for mental health problems takes courage. She strives to provide a warm and nonjudgmental environment at Christie’s Family Health LLC where patients feel welcome and respected.

Rather than simply recommending a one-size-fits-all treatment approach, patients receive personalized care plans that improve symptoms and mood. This often includes several measures, including talk therapy (counseling), medication management, and care coordination with specialists.

Christie’s Family Health LLC offers advanced diagnostics, including Qbtech testing for ADHD. This computer-based program combines attention ability assessments and movement analysis to accurately determine the type and severity of ADHD. Cutting-edge treatments, such as peptide therapy to restore balance to the body and improve mood and outlook, are also available.

Sheritha understands that not everyone benefits from long-term medication use. As a result, she establishes a given timeframe and works with patients one-on-one to wean off prescription drugs whenever possible.

Call Christie’s Family Health LLC to establish mental health care for yourself or your child, or book an appointment online today. Telehealth and in-office visits are available.
